We are located in the coastal village of Findhorn, on the Moray Coast, in the Northeast of Scotland. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty!
Our Hostel is open to individual bookings from March until the end of October. We can accommodate exclusive use bookings of the whole hostel all year round. Our Lobster Pot is also open all year.
We are the perfect venue for individuals and groups alike. We can accommodate up to 32 guests- 26 in the main Hostel and a further 6 individuals in the self-contained Lobster Pot. We have the following rooms-
Two dormitories of 5 bunk beds (Sleeping 10 people in each dorm). One dorm is for males, the other females.
The Mates Cabin. A private room with one set of bunks, sleeping 2 people
The Captain's Suite. A small family room with double bed, single bunk over the double, and a pull-out single bed. En-suite shower room. Sleeps up to 4 people
Male and female bathrooms, each with 2 showers and 2 toilets, and an accessible shower room and toilet.
Communal living/ dining/ kitchen area. The kitchen has 2 electric hobs and ovens, 2 sinks, a dishwasher, microwave, large fridge and fridge freezer. There are tables and chairs for 16, plus 2 sofas and a TV with freeview and Netflix.
We also have our 'Lobster Pot'. This is a self- contained unit with 2 sets of bunk beds and a double sofa bed (sleeps up to 6). It has a mini kitchen and a private shower room suitable for disabled use. There is a minimum stay 2 nights in the Lobster Pot.
Adjoining the Hostel is the Findhorn Village Centre. This has two conference rooms available for hire. There is also a book and jigsaw library which Hostel guests are welcome to use.
The village has a bakery, shop, Post Office, cafes and pubs. All village amenities are within a 5-minute walk of the Hostel. We are 32 miles from Inverness and 80 miles from Aberdeen. Our nearest towns are Forres, Nairn and Elgin. We are situated in the heart of the village and a 15-minute walk to The Findhorn Foundation Community.

The nearest railway stations are Forres (5 miles) and Elgin (12 miles) and are situated on the Inverness/Aberdeen mainline, please see Scotrail for further details. Inverness Airport is approximately 28 miles away and transfers can be made by Hire Car, Bus or Taxi.
